Since our field allows full auto (up to 15bps) your mini is fine.

To start, I'm a relatively new player, but I decided to buy a marker and mask because I immediately felt I really liked the sport and quickly realized I would actually be saving money in the long run by purchasing a relatively inexpensive marker (found an Invert Mini for only $200!) and taking advantage of "owner" prices. I only mention this because I don't want you to get the impression I'm some super-intense tournament speedballer. I've only played about 5-6 times! I just figured $200 on a Mini made more sense than $200 on an A5 in terms of versatility and overall performance.

I've gone through most of the FAQ page, and I've read through the thread on electronic markers from last year, but I was hoping for a simple yes or no to the following question:

I realize the Invert Mini is considered a speedball gun, but if I were to run it in semi-auto only and limit it to it's minimum ROF 10.5 bps, would it be acceptable?

Bear in mind, in order to change the ROF or firing mode on this marker I have to unscrew a very small and easily lost screw, remove the battery from the front grip, break out my manual, and play around with the settings for 5 minutes. In short, it's not something that would be very easily done on the field, even if I intended to do it, which I don't.

I really just want to know if I should even bother hauling my gear along or not.

As an aside, a comprehensive FAQ on the main website indicating exactly what is and is not acceptable on both fields would be very helpful, as it seems these kinds of questions come up a lot on the boards.

Have you modded that? Looks like a mix of bravo and Sierra parts.

Hey it actually worked for me. Aircraft Stripper helped me out of that problem.Thanks for your suggestion.

I don't think there is a mask out there that allows one to use iron sights properly.

Well I find that most masks with soft ears work relatively well.  I don't really like the Dye I3 for it though. 
The Avatar vents are pretty good that's what i use anyways.
